Project Lead – Tier 1 Mining Client | Immediate Start
We’re seeking an experienced Project Lead / Manager to deliver a high-impact land planning software initiative for a Tier 1 mining company. This contract role starts immediately and runs through to 30 June 2026.
Role Overview You’ll lead a cross-functional team to deliver a strategic software platform, coordinating across multiple business units and senior stakeholders. Agile and SCRUM expertise is essential, along with strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Drive Agile delivery and facilitate SCRUM ceremonies.
- Lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide regular updates and maintain project documentation.
- 10+ years in project management, ideally in mining or enterprise software.
- Proven success delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Strong Agile/SCRUM knowledge; PMP or Prince2 preferred.
- Skilled in Jira, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Resilient, adaptable, and team-oriented.
