Quality & Risk Lead

Tasks and responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate quality and risk management activities for drilling operations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality and risk management plans aligned with drill-plans, ensuring continuous monitoring and communication of plan updates.
  • Drive contractor and drilling performance improvements through supervisory activities and systematic QA/QC processes. Monitor key performance indicators and process efficiency to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and contractual requirements throughout operations. 
  • Facilitate verification and audit activities to validate system effectiveness.
  • Facilitate incident management, conduct investigations, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Manage lessons learned programs and analyse drilling results to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee implementation of improvements within established governance frameworks. Deliver training programs to build quality and risk management competency.
  • Conduct reviews to assess performance and effectiveness of quality and risk systems.

Qualifications
  • Relevant degree, Bachelor or Master.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant Drilling Experience.
  • Be able to communicate in both English and Norwegian.
