About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Quality Advisor to join a confidential R&D project focused on bespoke green energy technology. This is a hands-on role supporting a miner in meeting obligations for material traceability, testing, and inspection—critical for safety in hazardous environments.

You’ll work closely with the existing Quality Advisor and local project manager, functionally reporting to the division lead. The role involves significant collaboration and practical problem-solving to ensure compliance and mitigate risks in a complex mechanical setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality assurance across engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
  • Set and verify technical quality requirements for pressure vessels, skid packages, and SMP assemblies.
  • Conduct inspections, verifications, and criticality assessments of equipment.
  • Review NDRs, technical data, and ensure materials traceability.
  • Support hazardous area compliance (O&G mindset) and ASME standards.
  • Collaborate with EPC contractors and manage QA deliverables.
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong mechanical engineering project background.
  • EPC/SMP experience essential.
  • Skilled in inspections, verification, and quality planning.
  • Familiar with ASME, API, and pressure vessel standards.
  • Approachable, practical, and excellent at stakeholder engagement.
