Document Processing Specialist – Job Summary Responsible for collecting, preparing, scanning, indexing, and routing physical and electronic documents received via mail and interdepartmental delivery. Supports Unconventional Land & Land Services by digitizing and managing document workflows.
Major Responsibilities (% of Time)

Major Responsibilities (% of Time)
- 10% – Processing incoming documents
- 10% – Preparing physical documents for scanning
- 50% – Scanning physical documents
- 15% – Indexing and performing quality assurance on digital scans
- 10% – Routing documents electronically
- 5% – Other administrative or support duties
- Collect, sort, and process incoming mail and interdepartmental deliveries
- Prepare physical documents for scanning (e.g., removing staples, organizing pages)
- Operate scanning equipment to digitize documents
- Index scanned documents and verify accuracy and completeness
- Route digital documents to appropriate departments or systems
- Archive or box physical documents as needed
- Provide support to Unconventional Land & Land Services teams, including tracking and archiving
