We’re seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to support a major site‑based project. This role is ideal for someone who is commercially sharp, detail‑oriented and confident managing contractual obligations in a dynamic site environment.
About the Role
In this senior position, you’ll ensure contractual compliance, protect project entitlements, and support the project team with commercial oversight. You’ll manage site‑based contractual matters, track changes, support cost control activities, and contribute to claims, variations and reporting. You’ll also act as a key commercial liaison between construction partners and internal stakeholders.

- Guide the site team on contract obligations and ensure compliance with terms, deadlines and procedures.
- Identify, record and report all events, changes and deviations impacting cost, time or scope.
- Manage the on‑site change log and support the broader change management process.
- Assist with preparation of daily/weekly commercial reports and cost tracking.
- Support claims preparation, variation assessments, delay impact analysis and progress claims.
- Prepare site instructions, RFQs, variations and contractual notices.
- Assist in managing subcontractors and suppliers, including negotiation and dispute resolution.
- Identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes and optimise project cost efficiency.
- Qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar.
- Strong understanding of contract law and commercial principles used in the construction and resources industries.
- Contracts experience in construction, resources or energy.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and contract management software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously within tight deadlines.
