NES Fircroft is currently supporting our valued client, a Global Oil & Gas Operator, who are looking for a Senior Exploration Geoscientist to join their Perth based exploration team. The position will assist the team to actively generate and evaluate prospects and plan multiple wells.
This is a Perth CBD based position, offered on a 6-9 month contract with a start of 1st March 2026.
Top 3 Must have skills:
- Strong knowledge of work station interpretation systems and applications (Petrel Suite).
- Strong prospect and regional scale mapping capabilities, including challenging data areas are required.
- Ability to integrate various types of geophysical and geological/petrophysical data into well-defined drill ready opportunities.
Nice to have skills:
- Extensive well planning experience.
- Familiarity with exploration processes, with strong understanding of risk and resource assessment.
- Strong understanding of reservoir properties from seismic (RPFS,QI assessments)
- Extensive experience with North Carnarvon basin plays.
