Key Responsibilities
- Lead the selection, planning, and execution of mechanical design and manufacturing methods and procedures, ensuring all work optimizes design quality within project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with international codes, industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements throughout all phases of design and execution.
- Proactively manage activities and deliverables, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while maintaining clear system interfaces.
- Deliver scope of work in line with contractual obligations and internal client requirements, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
- Apply lessons learned from previous projects to improve processes and design outcomes; assess and manage impact of changes across project system boundaries.
- Coordinate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and third parties to ensure seamless integration and adherence to project requirements.
- Serve as Package Engineer when assigned, with responsibility for overseeing the design, procurement, and manufacturing of packages.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers within the assigned scope to drive performance, quality, and knowledge sharing.
- May act as Discipline Lead for specific scopes of work, providing technical leadership and direction.
- Engineer Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong competencies in concept development, detailed design, systems engineering, package engineering and manufacturing, site engineering, analysis, and planning.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines within a complex project environment.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
