Contract period: 23.03.2026 - 31.12.2027
Location: Haugesund
Main tasks:
- Advanced proficiency in UniSim Design for process simulations, steady-state modelling, case studies, and process optimisation
- Ability to build, modify, and validate process simulation models according to project needs
- Inlet arrangements (e.g., choke valves, inlet coolers/heaters, sand handling)
- Three-phase separators and separation technology
- Gas compression systems
- Pumps and rotating equipment
- Key instrumentation relevant to process control and safety
Qualifications:
- Capable of developing and reviewing process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, control philosophies, and process data-sheets
- Experience with equipment sizing including pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, and separators
- Strong skills in hydraulic calculations and sizing of process lines according to industry standards
- Experience in valve sizing (control valves, safety valves, and manual valves.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards (API, ISO, NORSOK, etc.)
- Proficiency with typical engineering tools and documentation systems used in EPC projects
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
