Senior Project Completion Engineer - SAS and ICT - PWP
 
Contract period: 13.04.2026 - 31.12.2027
Location:  Stavanger

Main tasks:
  • Contribute in the preparation phase with review and verification of documentation and drawings that are relevant to MC and Commissioning of designated systems.
  • Provide engineering input and provide input to systems connected to and controlled by designated systems.
  • Estimation and planning of commissioning scope of work onshore and offshore for designated systems, including input to plan.
  • Participate as PRD in package teams, and in MC punch outs and FATs at supplier sites.
  • Deliver input and update progress.
  • Develop, review, and implementation of commissioning procedures and handover dossiers.
  • Coordinate and Interact with different departments and disciplines to ensure efficient execution of commissioning with high focus on HSSE.
  • Plan and call off ATS as and when required.
  • Provide leadership to ensure that a high level of focus is maintained on health, safety, and the environment to achieve Company’s expectations.
  • Plan and coordinate commissioning assistance and support as required.
  • Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews as necessary.
  • This position is with base location Stavanger. Some travel and offshore can be expected.

Qualifications:
  • Functional Safety training and experience in an advantage.
  • Engineering experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in use of PIMS, MIPS, and TIME is an advantage.
  • BSc. Or MSc in Engineering or a related field or equivalent education / experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience from NORSOK projects.
  • System-based commissioning knowledge and understanding SAS logic and SCD knowledge is a major advantage.
  • SAS dynamic simulator experience is a major advantage.
  • Track record of delivery in the Oil & Gas industry for the Norwegian Continental Shelf and able to demonstrate effective system commissioning skills are a major advantage.
  • Familiarity with Project Completions Systems and document management systems. 
  • Ability to engage and support commissioning engineers & technicians to achieve timely execution of commissioning activities.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn from others and work with minimum direction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. 
  • Actively seeks out expertise and best practice, related to own area of contribution.
  • Builds networks to enhance effectiveness and share knowledge.
  • Good knowledge of the English and Norwegian languages (both written and verbal).
