The Senior Project Controls Specialist leads project controls processes and consults with the project management team to ensure client satisfaction. Presents schedule and budget status reports and analysis of these deliverables to project management team and client and will support all aspects of project controls and reporting, including, project change management, cost control, risk management, progress measurement, schedule development and schedule control.

Job Duties
- Set up projects in Enterprise Planning & Controls software, including data input, log maintenance, reporting, and analysis.
- Develop, structure, and maintain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
- Prepare, implement, and maintain accurate scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flows, and forecasts.
- Track and support adherence to project execution plans.
- Review and approve Purchase Orders and Subcontracts for correct coding.
- Update cost reports and forecasts, document changes, and provide variance analysis.
- Support upstream (prime contract) and downstream (PO/subcontract) change order processes.
- Assist in developing project cash flows.
- Support schedule development at various levels, including logic ties and resource loading.
- Coordinate project schedules and produce required scheduling reports.
- Retrieve, review, and distribute pre‑programmed scheduling reports with supporting documentation.
- Update and document schedule progress.
- Develop and maintain earned value management systems, progress measurement, and progress curves.
- Assist with material takeoffs and quality checks on project controls deliverables.
- Lead project risk management activities, including identification, assessment, and mitigation planning.
- Support field audits to validate reporting accuracy and process compliance.
- Perform additional project controls duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent applicable experience.
- Minimum 7 years of direct project controls experience.
- Strong background in critical path scheduling, cost management, estimating, and document control.
- Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred.
- Ability to develop detailed construction schedules and integrate them with engineering and procurement activities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong presentation skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to obtain OSHA 10‑hour safety certification.
