Job Summary
The Service Technician will support the performance and reliability of the CLIENT’s Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems at customer sites. This role focuses on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AGV systems, combining electromechanical expertise with software and PLC diagnostics. The technician will work independently onsite, ensuring minimal system downtime and providing technical support to customers. Key Responsibilities

Job Summary

Essential Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair AGV systems per project specifications.
- Perform electromechanical tasks including wiring, calibration, and hardware assembly.
- Configure and update AGV software components.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues using technical documentation and schematics.
- Maintain service records via the OMR ticketing system.
- Analyze system performance and report findings.
- Provide technical guidance to customer teams.
- Represent the client professionally during all customer interactions.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards.
- Recommend improvements to service processes and system performance.
- Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required:
- 2–3 years of experience in service or maintenance engineering (electromechanical systems).
- Background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science disciplines.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and diagnostic software tools.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with PLCs, sensors, controllers, and embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with wiring, soldering, and hardware integration.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory; Linux experience is a plus.
- Passport eligibility for potential travel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Indoor field work, primarily during daytime hours.
- Stable work surfaces; occasional exposure to airborne dust.
- PPE required; frequent proximity to moving equipment.
- Collaborative work environment with close interaction with others.

- Project-based reporting: Project Manager and/or Site Supervisor
