Contract period: 31.03.2026 - 31.12.2027
Location: Bergen
Main Tasks:
- Detailed design of telecom tasks.
- Participate in studies.
- Estimate telecom tasks.
- Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries.
- Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages).
- Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility.
- Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier.
- Participate in inspections onshore/offshore.
- Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers.
- Perform as-built.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecom/Instrumentation/Automation Hardware.
- Or Technical College degree with extensive experience in Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas
- industry.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects.
- Strong experience in engineering design.
- Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written.
- Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written.
- Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, Norsok, STID, ProCoSys, ARIS.
- Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation used in the oil industry.
- Good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.
Required Certificates:
- Offshore certificate with helideck
- Medical certificate
- Basic EX course: 6–8 hours online, or 22.5 hours in classroom
- FSE – High and Low Voltage with First Aid
