Wind Project Development Manager

For our client, a well-established and successful RES developer with proven track-record in Poland, we are currently seeking for an experienced Wind Project Development Manager to continue development of their large pipeline of wind farms.

In this role you will join the development team responsible for ~4GW of assets under development (on various stages, from land secured up to pre-construction), portfolio consists of BESS, PV and Wind installations. On everyday basis you will be cooperating with internal and external experts in fields of land acquisition, environmental issues, project engineering, spatial planning - you're main responsibility will be to efffectively lead subsequent projects until RtB stage and handle it to construction team.

Project Development Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize the development of multiple projects from a project idea until a fully developed project
• Leading a project team for each project consisting of both inhouse resources and external consultants
• Managing stakeholders like: authorities, municipalities, designers, surveyors and residents.
• Set budget and time plan. Manage the project to secure good quality within budget and time plan.
• Set a development strategy for the project to in order to optimize the development depending on the project conditions.
• Manage risks throughout the project in order to act proactive and secure a project that is constructible and attractive to the market.
• Lead your project teams, typically consisting of Land Acquisition Specialists, project engineering specialists, environmental experts
• Manage and procure services from external consultants and lawyers.
• Secure relevant permits for the project (Environmental Permit etc.).
• Secure Grid Conditions and a Grid Connection Agreement with the connecting utility.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience working as a Project Manager, preferably within wind power.
• Solid experience developing wind power/solar PV projects.
• Experience from the energy sector, preferably wind power
• Team player with a delivery-oriented mindset that can handle parallel workstreams while managing budget and time plan.
• Leadership and management team experience in any form is meriting.
• Minimum a bachelor’s degree, most likely in engineering, environmental science/law
• Fluency in Polish language, English langugae is a plus.
• Good skills with the MS Office package in general.
• Driving license B
