Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Advisor Drilling Fluids to support onshore drilling and cementing activities within a challenging operational environment.The Field based Advisor Drilling Fluids serves as the primary technical and operational link between the office-based management and field operations. You will be responsible for the real-time supervision of all drilling fluids (WBM/OBM) and cementing services across multiple rig sites and the Liquid Mud Plant (LMP). Your mission is to ensure cost-efficiency, technical integrity, and strict adherence to environmental regulations in Algeria.

Key Responsibilities :
- Manage drilling fluids systems
- Supervise cementing programmes
- Monitor contractor performance
- Optimise solids control
- Lead HSE compliance initiatives
- Conduct technical audits and inspections
- Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry.
- 10+ years in Drilling Fluids/Cementing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory field role.
- Proven experience of mentoring and coaching colleagues
- Strong Contract Oversight skills
- Experience with Algerian lithology (e.g., salt sections, Hassi Messaoud Quartzite) or analogous basins.
- Mastery of API RP 13B testing procedures and cementing hydraulics modeling.
- Professional fluency in English, French is advantageous; Arabic language skills would be a major asset for field coordination.
