Business Development Manager (Building Material)

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market presence and generate new business opportunities across Vietnam.
  • Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, architects, and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through contract award, ensuring sustainable business growth.
  • Support tendering and proposal activities by coordinating with commercial, technical, and operations teams.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and follow-up activities to secure new projects and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, exhibitions, and business forums.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence reports for management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or Commercial roles within the construction, building materials, manufacturing, engineering, or related industries.
  • Proven experience working with developers, contractors, consultants, architects, or project-based organizations is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the local construction and infrastructure market in Vietnam.
  • Professional working proficiency in Vietnamese and English.
  • Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to build client relationships and drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
