Commissioning Electrical Superintendent

We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Electrical Superintendent to join a major offshore energy project in Rotterdam.

This is an opportunity for someone with a strong electrical background and experience overseeing construction and commissioning activities on site, ensuring work is completed safely, to the required quality standards and in line with the project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all electrical construction and commissioning activities on site.
• Supervise daily site operations, including workforce, materials and equipment.
• Coordinate electrical inspections, testing and commissioning of systems and equipment.
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with project specifications, quality standards and HSSE requirements.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and take action to keep activities on schedule.
• Work closely with project teams, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination.
• Maintain accurate progress reports, inspection records and quality documentation.
• Lead, support and mentor electrical supervisors and commissioning teams on site.
• Manage changes to the scope of work and ensure any issues are addressed effectively.

What We're Looking For

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in electrical construction and commissioning within the energy, oil and gas, offshore or similar industries.
• Previous experience supervising and coordinating electrical teams on site.
• A good understanding of electrical testing, inspections, commissioning procedures and quality requirements.
• Strong knowledge of HSSE standards and safe working practices.
• Experience managing contractors, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and working to demanding project schedules.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
