Responsibilities:
  • Make sure all EHS rules are followed during the execution of the commissioning
  • Monitoring the staffing plan (internal / external) and follow up of actuals vs. plan
  • Reporting to and providing alignment with the Commissioning Management on site
  • Manage project and site documentation (contracts, reports, drawings, checklists)
  • Monitoring, recording and reporting of the contractor work progress along with Site Commissioning teams
  • Implementing, Monitoring, recording and reporting of the Health, Safety and Environmental performance of the project site as per GE EHS standards
  • Developing commissioning sequences and site execution schedules, with a strong focus on maintaining the project’s critical path
  • Liaise with design office for timely issuance of data required for preparation of site works (specs, designs, BOQ, material lists, …)
  • Preparation, coordination, review, and management of commissioning documentation for the relevant project phases to ensure that all documents are complete, accurate, traceable, and compliant with applicable statutory regulations, project specifications, approved designs, and client requirements
  • Publish progress reports and provide key inputs for the Commissioning Manager
  • Manage STATCOM commissioning related quality topics including non-conformance reporting, together with managing the risks and opportunities related to Commissioning activities
  • Review and approve test protocols as well ensure its consistence into digital tools when required
  • Prepare and lead the STATCOM Commissioning Plan, Switching Program, Energization requests and attendance applications
  • Attend customer and TSO meetings and keep in contact with relevant stakeholders
  • Prepare Input for weekly and monthly work progress reports and minutes of meetings




Requirements:
  • Prior experience in large-scale offshore-to-onshore grid infrastructure projects such as HV substations, STATCOM / FACTS systems and grid infrastructures
  • Proven experience in ensuring STATCOM grid code compliance, specifically performing dynamic response tests, voltage regulation, and P-Q capability verification to satisfy Transmission System Operator (TSO) requirements
  • Knowledge about grid automation systems
  • Hands-on experiences as well as experience and leading / managing an international team
  • Exceptional crisis management and negotiation skills, with the ability to bridge technical requirements between the TSO, internal departments, and external subcontractors under high-pressure project deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and foster collaboration within diverse, multi-national commissioning teams, ensuring a unified approach to site execution
  • Strong Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) culture, with the ability to actively promote, enforce, and maintain safety requirements at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively simultaneous works between all stakeholders between subcontractors, client representatives, and the construction team
  • MS Office skills (Excel, Word, SharePoint)
  • Strong organizational skills, structured and proactive working style
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) and Polish
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility to work on large industrial construction sites
