🚨 Hiring: Commissioning Lead (Process HU) | Offshore Qatar
📍 Location: Qatar (80% Offshore / 20% Onshore)
🔄 Rotation: 28 Days On / 28 Days Off
📅 Work Schedule: 7 Days per Week
📄 Contract Duration: 3 Years
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead (Process HU) to support a major offshore LNG project in Qatar.
The successful candidate will act as the focal point for all Process Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) activities, providing leadership, technical oversight, and interface coordination throughout offshore hook-up, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup readiness, and handover phases.
The role requires close collaboration with EPC Contractors, Vendors, Operations, Facilities Teams, and Project Management Teams to ensure safe and successful project delivery in line with QatarEnergy LNG requirements. Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead and oversee offshore Process Hook-Up & Commissioning activities.
✅ Review and approve contractor procedures, commissioning plans, and testing documentation.
✅ Provide technical guidance on process systems, standards, specifications, and commissioning strategies.
✅ Participate in FATs, SATs, site testing, commissioning reviews, and readiness assessments.
✅ Review technical proposals, deviations, redlines, and engineering changes.
✅ Ensure implementation of lessons learned and best commissioning practices.
✅ Monitor EPC contractor progress and verify commissioning reports.
✅ Support project schedule recovery plans and critical milestone achievement.
✅ Witness commissioning tests and sign off check sheets as required.
✅ Participate in quality audits, inspections, walkdowns, and PSSR activities.
✅ Support startup, performance testing, and final handover to Operations. Required Qualification & Experience

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
- Minimum 8+ years of Oil & Gas commissioning experience.
- Minimum 1+ year in a supervisory or lead role.
