We're recruiting for a Construction Methods Engineer to support major energy projects based in Rotterdam. Our client is a leading in Oil & Gas floating technologies company with some massive projects starting up.
This is an initial 12 month contract with potential for extension long-term. Mon-Fri, 40hrs per week, hybrid working 3 days per week in the Rotterdam office.
Purpose
The Construction Methods Engineer is responsible for implementing and optimizing construction methods, standards, best practices and know how to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety during the planning, engineering and execution of construction projects.

The Construction Methods Engineer is responsible for implementing and optimizing construction methods, standards, best practices and know how to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety during the planning, engineering and execution of construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Your responsibilities include delivering construction methodologies tailored to project requirements, considering factors such as materials, site conditions, and project requirements and schedule.
- You address and resolve construction challenges, applying constructability principle to find effective solutions.
- You participate to provide solid technical expertise on construction techniques to the project / site team, ensuring best practices are followed.
- You maintain comprehensive records of construction methods, changes, outcomes and Lessons Learned for future reference and continuous improvement.
- You participate to department improvement program, through cross analyses, workshops, reporting and/or Construction Methods standards development.
- At least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience with knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and HSSE regulations, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including proficiency in construction management software and tools.
