Development Manager, Onshore Wind Position Overview We are seeking a Development Manager to support the origination and development of onshore wind projects in Korea. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project development activities from site identification through permitting and stakeholder engagement, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to advance projects through key development milestones.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate new onshore wind project opportunities.
- Conduct site screening and preliminary feasibility assessments, including permitting, environmental, land, and grid connection considerations.
- Manage permitting activities and coordinate with local authorities, government agencies, and relevant stakeholders.
- Support land acquisition and landowner negotiations.
- Lead community engagement activities, including resident consultations and stakeholder communications.
- Coordinate with environmental consultants, engineering partners, and regulatory authorities throughout the development process.
- Monitor project schedules, risks, and development progress to ensure successful project advancement.
- Maintain strong relationships with local governments, communities, and industry stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Studies, Renewable Energy, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Approximately 5-10 years of experience in renewable energy project development, preferably within the onshore wind sector.
- Demonstrated experience participating in the full permitting and development cycle of at least one onshore wind project.
- Hands-on experience with development permits, regulatory approvals, stakeholder engagement, and community consultations.
- Strong understanding of the Korean renewable energy regulatory and permitting framework.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Fluent Korean and professional working proficiency in English.
- Experience with project development companies, IPPs, renewable energy developers, or related consulting firms.
- Knowledge of environmental impact assessments, land use permitting, forest land conversion approvals, and development permits.
- Established network with local authorities and stakeholders in key wind development regions across Korea.
- Strong interest in and understanding of the renewable energy industry.
- Direct onshore wind development experience.
- Experience managing or supporting permitting activities.
- Has been through at least one onshore wind development cycle from site development to permitting approval stage.
- Experience dealing with local governments, residents, and key project stakeholders.
