About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Associate to join a leading engineering consultancy in Paris, supporting the continued growth of its Data Centre and Mission Critical division.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of complex electrical engineering projects across France and wider Europe, working with major hyperscale, colocation and technology clients.

The Role As an Electrical Associate, you will be responsible for leading electrical engineering activities across a range of technically complex projects.
You will work closely with clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop practical, innovative and compliant solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading electrical engineering design across large-scale data centre and mission-critical projects.
- Managing and mentoring electrical engineers and supporting the development of the wider team.
- Acting as a key technical point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
- Reviewing and approving electrical designs, specifications, calculations and technical documentation.
- Providing technical leadership from concept and feasibility through detailed design, construction and commissioning.
- Coordinating electrical design with mechanical, structural, architectural and specialist disciplines.
- Supporting project delivery in accordance with programme, budget, quality and technical requirements.
- Attending client, design and project meetings and representing the electrical engineering function.
- Supporting business development activities and contributing to the development of new client relationships.
- Identifying opportunities to improve project delivery, engineering standards and technical processes.
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant French regulations, European standards and project-specific requirements.
You will ideally have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Significant experience within electrical building services engineering.
- Previous experience delivering large-scale data centre, mission-critical, industrial or similarly complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems, power distribution and critical power infrastructure.
- Experience with electrical design, specifications, calculations and technical documentation.
- Previous experience managing or mentoring engineers.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- The ability to coordinate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Experience working across the full project lifecycle.
- A commercially aware and proactive approach to project delivery.
- Professional fluency in French and English is highly desirable.
