We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for a 6 month contract to lead a team of approximately 10–15 engineers and designers, overseeing engineering delivery, resource planning, technical quality and team development.

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for a 6 month contract to lead a team of approximately 10–15 engineers and designers, overseeing engineering delivery, resource planning, technical quality and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of engineers and technical specialists.
- Plan resources across multiple projects and customer requirements.
- Oversee engineering quality, schedules, costs and technical delivery.
- Support bids, tenders and customer technical discussions.
- Manage technical risks, project issues and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with Project Management, Sales and Supply Chain.
- Oversee engineering support through design, FAT, testing and commissioning.
- Monitor team performance, utilisation and financial targets.
- Degree qualified in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Control Systems or related Engineering.
- 5-10+ years' engineering experience within DCS, automation, control systems or industrial engineering.
- Previous engineering team leadership or people management experience.
- Strong project delivery, resource planning and stakeholder management skills.
- Customer-focused with strong commercial and technical awareness.
- Experience with major DCS or industrial automation platforms highly regarded.
- Chartered Engineer / RPEQ advantageous but not essential.
