- Hold Estimating experience within the specialisation of Mobile Equipment Maintenance.
- Previous experience in supporting Planning & Scheduling activities.
- Experience using CMMS systems and Microsoft programs.
- Familiar with mining machinery and equipment manufactured by CAT, Hitachi, Liebherr or similar.
- Coming from a Trade background and holding previous hand-on mechanical experience is certainly beneficial.
The role will be based in Perth in the Hazelmere region and see you working very closely with the Workshop leadership teams. Usual working hours are 7am – 3pm however this can be negotiated. Some of your key duties will include:
- Work with Workshop management in reviewing scope of works and then identifying required labour, materials, equipment to complete the projects
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for maintenance & rebuild works on large mobile plant.
- Preparing detailed quantity take-offs and cost assessments to produce accurate and competitive project estimates.
- Reviewing supplier and subcontractor proposals, analysing pricing and commercial terms to identify cost-effective solutions and maximise value.
- Contributing to the preparation and submission of tender documentation, ensuring compliance with project requirements and submission deadlines.
- Assisting with the administration of project variations, procurement activities, purchase orders, and ongoing budget monitoring.
- Travelling to project sites and regional facilities when required to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement.
