Field Service Engineer – Busway / Busduct Specialist (Data Center) - 4 months

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to support Busway/Busduct installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting activities for a major Data Center project. This role will act as the technical specialist for Busway systems, ensuring installation quality, safety compliance and successful project delivery.
What You Will Do

• Act as the technical expert for Busway/Busduct systems throughout project execution.
• Review electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts and installation methods to ensure compliance with project specifications and IEC standards.
• Lead and supervise Busway installation activities, including alignment checks, support installation, joint assembly and torque verification.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors and project stakeholders to ensure smooth site execution.
• Monitor installation quality, identify technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare commissioning plans, test procedures and inspection checklists.
• Perform and supervise IR, continuity, ground continuity, joint resistance, phase sequence and thermographic testing.
• Analyze test results and prepare commissioning reports, punch lists and handover documentation.
• Investigate overheating joints, abnormal readings and power distribution issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide effective technical solutions.
• Support shutdown activities, emergency troubleshooting and critical commissioning windows.
• Provide technical support to customers, consultants and project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Busway/Busduct installation, testing or commissioning.
• Experience in Data Centers, mission-critical facilities or large-scale electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV power distribution systems.
• Ability to read SLDs, schematics, layouts and installation drawings.
• Experience leading site teams, installation crews or commissioning activities is preferred.
• Knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards and electrical safety requirements.
• Good troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
