We Are Hiring: Head of Contracts
We are seeking an experienced Head of Contracts to lead contract management activities for large-scale EPC projects within the Oil & Gas industry. This role is responsible for post-award contract administration, claims management, commercial risk mitigation, change order management, and leading a team of contract professionals to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
âś… Lead all post-award contract management activities through project closeout.
âś… Manage contractor claims, disputes, variations, and change orders while protecting company interests.
âś… Develop and implement contract management strategies aligned with project objectives.
âś… Provide commercial and contractual guidance to project management teams.
âś… Support claims prevention, dispute resolution, and risk mitigation activities.
âś… Coordinate contractual communications and responses with EPC contractors.
âś… Work closely with Legal, Supply Chain, Procurement, Risk Management, and Project teams.
âś… Lead contract closeout processes in accordance with company procedures.
âś… Mentor and develop contract professionals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
âś… Support digital transformation and process improvement initiatives within project execution teams.
Minimum Qualifications
âś” Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or related discipline.
Mandatory Experience
âś” Minimum 10 years of experience managing contracts on large-scale EPC projects within Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, or Energy sectors.
âś” Proven experience in post-award contract administration for lump-sum EPC contracts.
âś” Strong background managing contractor claims, variations, and contract changes.
âś” Experience handling Extension of Time (EOT) and delay claims.
âś” Experience with commercial correspondence, contract drafting, and negotiations.
âś” Team leadership and stakeholder management experience.
