HSE Trainer (Bilingual Spanish/English) The HSE Trainer is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) training programs for employees and contractors supporting an LNG construction, commissioning, and startup project. This position ensures compliance with company policies, client requirements, OSHA regulations, and project-specific safety standards.
Key responsibilities include conducting new hire orientations, site safety inductions, toolbox talks, task-specific training, and refresher courses; evaluating employee competency; maintaining training documentation and compliance records; and supporting audits, inspections, and incident investigations. The HSE Trainer will work closely with HSE leadership, project management, and field supervision to promote a proactive safety culture and ensure all personnel understand and follow safe work practices.
The ideal candidate will have LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industrial construction experience, strong presentation and communication skills, and the ability to effectively train a diverse workforce in both English and Spanish. Knowledge of OSHA standards, hazard recognition, confined space entry, fall protection, LOTO, hot work, and industrial safety best practices is highly preferred.

Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- 3+ years of HSE training experience in LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial construction environments
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards
- Experience conducting classroom and field-based training
- Strong recordkeeping, communication, and leadership skills
