Position Title: JS.HRM.003 Driver
Grade: NJS 03
The National Judicial Staff Services (NJSS) has initiated a major organisational restructure to strengthen its workforce and enhance the delivery of efficient, effective, and quality support services to the Judiciary and courts throughout Papua New Guinea. We invite suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Papua New Guineans to apply for the position of Driver within the Administration unit based in HQ – Waigani.
Role Overview:
The Driver is a key position supporting the Director Human Resource and the Human Resource Division. This role requires a highly responsible and flexible individual capable of performing a wide range of administrative and driving duties. The Driver ensures smooth and efficient transportation services for the division while also handling various administrative tasks related to the management and operations of the Human Resource Division.
Key Responsibilities

• Drive the Director and staff to and from scheduled appointments, site visits, and other required destinations, ensuring safety and punctuality.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on all vehicles, arranging for repairs and services as needed.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for the Director and staff, adjusting itineraries as required to accommodate last-minute changes.
• Prepare and submit reports related to vehicle maintenance, travel expenses, and other administrative tasks as required.
• Assist in the transportation and movement of office supplies and equipment.
• Monitor and report on the condition of the vehicle, flagging any issues that require attention.
• Perform other administrative tasks assigned to support the Director and ensure the smooth operation of the office.
• Any other duties consistent with the above as directed by the Director HR.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Valid Class 3 PNG Driver’s License.
• Defensive Driving Course Certification.
• 2 years or more working experience in a corporate or organizational setting.
• Basic knowledge in vehicle maintenance and safety.
• Experience with driving a variety of vehicles.
• Clean and excellent driving record.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients.
• Sound knowledge of road safety regulations and applicable traffic laws.
• Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications (GPS systems), utilize maps, and car manuals.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Clean & Sober Habits.
• Physical stamina and good upper body strength to lift heavy luggage, packages and objects, as well as be able to load and unload from vehicle.
• Team player and customer focused.
