Position Title: JS.ITB.002 Driver
Grade: NJS 03
The National Judicial Staff Services (NJSS) has initiated a major organisational restructure to strengthen its workforce and enhance the delivery of efficient, effective, and quality support services to the Judiciary and courts throughout Papua New Guinea. We invite suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Papua New Guineans to apply for the position of Driver within the Administration unit based in HQ - Waigani, POM.
Role Overview:
An integral position within the IT Division responsible for the movement of personnel and cargo within working hours. Communicate with Transport Department for vehicle service needs. Work with the Security Division to ensure the safety of personnel and cargo are not put at risk. Assist staff with approved after-hours work pickups and drop-offs. Work with other teams within the organization to provide support where there is a need. Report to the IT Director on any issues that require intervention, approval, or opinion. National Judicial Staff Service Act 1987 and other relevant legislation. Standard Operational Procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Transport staff and/or packages to and from destinations.
- Arrive at destinations on schedule for pickup or drop off.
- Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
- Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use.
- Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
- Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
- Ensure vehicles are cleaned and maintained for duties.
- Assist in movement of operational requirements.
- Assist with other administrative duties as approved or requested by the IT Director.
- Grade 12 certificate.
- 2 years in driving experience.
- A valid PNG Class 6 Drivers License.
- Experience in Law and Justice Sector institutions would be ideal.
- Familiarity with Judiciary protocols would be preferred.
- Clean driving record for at least one year.
- Dedicated to successful team management and continuous improvement.

- Ability to drive for extended periods.
- Problem solving under pressure.
- Analytical decision-making skills and commitment to safety.
- Excellent navigational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
