Position Title: JS.ITB.010 Team Leader Multimedia
Grade: NJS 12
The National Judicial Staff Services (NJSS) has initiated a major organisational restructure to strengthen its workforce and enhance the delivery of efficient, effective, and quality support services to the Judiciary and courts throughout Papua New Guinea. We invite suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Papua New Guineans to apply for the position of Team Leader Multimedia within the Multimedia and Helpdesk unit based in HQ – Waigani, POM.
Role Overview:
To manage the team, providing dedicated IT support services to all Registry Staff at Waigani. Communicate with Deputy Registrars and all their team to gauge requirements for IT support for their divisions. Establish a good working relationship with Registry Directors and Managers. Report back to IT Management needs of the Registries at Waigani for planning purposes. Work in collaboration with the Registry Database Teams to ensure various Registry Systems are pushed out and maintained properly both internally and externally. Report to Manager Support Services and the Director IT any issues that require their intervention, approval, or opinion. National Judicial Staff Service Act 1987 and other relevant legislation. Standard Operational Procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all Registry support is assigned properly to the team and delivered within defined perimeters to ensure efficiency in response of service requests.
- Anticipate, plan for, and meet increases in Registry needs and their service requirements.
- Evaluated quality of Registry IT products and the quality of services provided to the Registry.
- Ensure proper supply of Registry necessary service products and stocks working in coordination with other teams with IT Division.
- Monitoring team performance and developing feedback where necessary to management.
- Manage multimedia equipment and software, ensuring resources are up-to-date and functional.
- Supervise the multimedia team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality output.
- Ensure timelines of services and resources are effectively utilized
- Perform other duties as required by Team Leader, Manager and Director IT.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information Systems or equivalent.
- 4 years in IT Support roles within IT Departments or Divisions.
- Strong technical knowledge in Microsoft Client environments.
- Strong technical knowledge in Database Systems.
- Experience in Microsoft M365 Suite.
- Experience in Networking.
