Position Title: JS.NCR.023 ICCSD Team Leader CR 3 (FCOT)
Grade: NJS 11
The National Judicial Staff Services (NJSS) has initiated a major organisational restructure to strengthen its workforce and enhance the delivery of efficient, effective, and quality support services to the Judiciary and courts throughout Papua New Guinea. We invite suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Papua New Guineans to apply for the position of ICCSD Team Leader CR 3 (FCOT) within the National Court division based in Waigani.
Role Overview:
The ICCSD Team Leader for the Frauds and Corruption track is responsible for the overall management of court files within the frauds and corruption track in the National Court Registry. This position involves overseeing the processing, maintenance, and integrity of case data related to frauds and corruption within the court’s electronic case management systems (ICCSD). The role is crucial in ensuring that the court's records are accurately maintained and efficiently support the judicial process, particularly in dealing with cases of fraud and corruption.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all frauds and corruption cases, ensuring they follow court rules.
- Improve communication amongst the court, litigants, and lawyers for smooth case handling.
- Answer public questions about frauds and corruption cases and court schedules.
- Maintain court records, ensuring their secure storage and proper disposal.
- Report on case progress, including statistics and team performance.
- Participate in management meetings to offer insights and updates on the frauds and corruption track.
- Train staff on new court practices and technologies related to fraud and corruption.
- Review and enhance case management processes to boost efficiency and accuracy.
- Work with external partners like law enforcement to streamline case processing.
- Educate the public on the court's efforts to fight fraud and corruption through outreach activities.
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computing, & Business Management.
- 3 years of experience in the National and Supreme Court Registry as a civil officer.
- Sound knowledge of Court Registry operations, practices, procedures and protocols.
- Track record in administration and management of court files.
- The officer must possess an understanding of the legal system, including the structure, functions, and processes of the registry.
- This includes the ability to set strategic direction, make informed decisions, motivate staff, and drive organizational change.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are also important for collaborating with stakeholders, such as judges, court administrators, and other court users.
- An Advanced Diploma in Court Administration would be an advantage but not essential.
- Must have a track record of successful management, including overseeing court track operations, planning, and resource allocation.
