Position Title: JS.NCV.004 Driver
Grade: NJS 03
The National Judicial Staff Services (NJSS) has initiated a major organisational restructure to strengthen its workforce and enhance the delivery of efficient, effective, and quality support services to the Judiciary and courts throughout Papua New Guinea. We invite suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Papua New Guineans to apply for the position of Driver within the National Court Civil unit based in Waigani.
Role Overview:
The Court Registry Driver is responsible for the secure and timely transport of legal documents and personnel between the court, law offices, and other relevant locations. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of court operations and supporting the legal process.

The Court Registry Driver is responsible for the secure and timely transport of legal documents and personnel between the court, law offices, and other relevant locations. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency of court operations and supporting the legal process.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport court documents, legal files, and court personnel as directed.
- Maintain confidentiality of all transported items and conversations.
- Keep accurate logs of travel, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.
- Assist with loading and unloading of items as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all court officials and staff.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, fuelled, and ready for daily operation.
- Report any incidents or accidents immediately to the supervisor.
- Handle emergency changes in schedules or routes effectively.
- Perform minor vehicle repairs and coordinate with maintenance services for major issues.
- Participate in training and safety briefings as required by the judiciary.
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, sober habits and discipline.
- Familiarity with local area roads and routes.
- Ability to handle sensitive documents.
- Experience in a similar role within a legal or court setting.
- Basic vehicle maintenance skills.
