Position Title: JS.RPC.012 Senior Change Management Officer
Grade: NJS 07
The National Judicial Staff Services (NJSS) has initiated a major organisational restructure to strengthen its workforce and enhance the delivery of efficient, effective, and quality support services to the Judiciary and courts throughout Papua New Guinea. We invite suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Papua New Guineans to apply for the position of Senior Change Management Officer within the Registry Development & Change unit based in Waigani.
Role Overview:
The Senior Change Management Officer supports & reports to the Team Leader Change Management & Projects. The officer will assist in adopting best practices and technologies to ensure the registry remains innovative, productive, and at the forefront of industry standards. The essence of this role is to bolster the registry's capability to manage change effectively and to facilitate the seamless adoption of new systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels to communicate change effectively, ensuring clarity, transparency, and understanding.
- Collect and analyse feedback from employees and stakeholders to gauge the effectiveness of change initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor and report on the progress of change projects, including key successes and challenges, to the Team Leader and relevant committees.
- Facilitate focus groups and workshops to involve employees in the change process actively.
- Support the integration of new processes and technologies through effective change management practices.
- Serve as a point of contact for change management-related queries within the registry.
- Contribute to the development of communication materials and strategies to enhance awareness and support for changes.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to employee’s post-implementation to ensure sustained change adoption.
- Proactively identify risks associated with change projects and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Diploma in Business Administration, Management, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in change management, project management, or a related area.
- General knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
- Working knowledge of project management software and tools.
- Thorough understanding of stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective training and facilitation skills.
- Resilience and adaptability to change.
- Strong leadership and influencing abilities.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management and Psychology.
- 3 years or more experience in change management, with a demonstrated track record of successful execution of change management.
