Position Title: JS.RPC.014 Change Management Officer
Grade: NJS 07
The National Judicial Staff Services (NJSS) has initiated a major organisational restructure to strengthen its workforce and enhance the delivery of efficient, effective, and quality support services to the Judiciary and courts throughout Papua New Guinea. We invite suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Papua New Guineans to apply for the position of Change Management Officer within the Registry Development & Change unit based in Waigani.
Role Overview:
The Change Management Officer supports & reports to the Senior Change Management Officer. The officer will play a crucial role in reinforcing the registry's capacity to manage change effectively, facilitating the seamless adoption of new systems and processes. This position embodies the drive towards operational excellence and service delivery at the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of changes.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to communicate change initiatives and gather employee feedback.
  • Work closely with the Senior Change Management Officer to identify and address resistance to change.
  • Contribute to the preparation of communication materials to enhance transparency and understanding of change initiatives.
  • Assist in the analysis of feedback and data to gauge the effectiveness of change initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of change management activities, decisions, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure a coordinated approach to change management.
  • Provide regular updates to the Senior Change Management Officer on the progress of change initiatives.
  • Engage in continuous learning to keep abreast of best practices in change management.
  • Identify and recommend process optimizations to improve the overall efficiency of change management practices.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in change management, organizational development, or a related field.
  • General knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools and software.
  • Thorough understanding of communication strategies and employee engagement techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills.
  • Adaptability and resilience in the face of change.
  • Empathy and the ability to engage with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork capabilities.
Preferred
  • A Degree in a related field.
  • 3 or more years of experience in change management
