Position Title: JS.RPC.035 Program Officer
Grade: NJS 04
The National Judicial Staff Services (NJSS) has initiated a major organisational restructure to strengthen its workforce and enhance the delivery of efficient, effective, and quality support services to the Judiciary and courts throughout Papua New Guinea. We invite suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Papua New Guineans to apply for the position of Program Officer within the Stakeholder Relations unit based in Waigani.
Role Overview:
The Program Officer, reporting to the MOU Officer, plays a crucial role in supporting and facilitating assigned programs and activities. This involves analysing reports to facilitate seamless communication among internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the Stakeholders Relation unit operates efficiently and without delays. Ultimately, the job exists to streamline program operations, enhance stakeholder engagement, and uphold organizational effectiveness in achieving its objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning phase of programs, contributing to the development of objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Identify key internal and external stakeholders for each project and establish communication plans to keep them informed and engaged.
- Regularly monitor the progress of assigned programs, preparing and submitting reports to highlight achievements and identify any areas of concern.
- Organize and facilitate meetings between stakeholders and the internal officers to ensure alignment and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure all program documentation is accurately maintained and readily available for review and audit purposes.
- Collect feedback from stakeholders and internal officers are analysed to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proactively identify any potential issues or delays in the execution of activities and work collaboratively to find effective solutions.
- Coordinate the allocation and utilization of resources across projects to ensure optimal efficiency.
- Perform regular compliance and quality checks to ensure activities adhere to established standards and best practices.
- Participate in the evaluation of completed activities to assess their impact, extract lessons learned and make recommendations for future initiatives.
- Certificate in Business Administration or related area.
- Minimum of 2 years in program management or support roles.
- Proficiency in data analysis and report writing to inform decision-making.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- High degree of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Proactive and independent working style.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing project requirements.
- Diploma in Business Administration or related area or related field.
- More than 2 years of experience in similar role preferably in public relations or inter-agency coordination.
