Position Title: JS.RPC.036 Court User Forum officer
Grade: NJS 04

The National Judicial Staff Services (NJSS) has initiated a major organisational restructure to strengthen its workforce and enhance the delivery of efficient, effective, and quality support services to the Judiciary and courts throughout Papua New Guinea. We invite suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Papua New Guineans to apply for the position of Court User Forum officer within the Stakeholder Relations unit based in Waigani.

Role Overview:
To organize and facilitate Court User Forums, acting as a bridge between the court and its users, gathering feedback, and promoting improvements in court services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize regular court user forums, ensuring they are well-planned and cater to a diverse audience.
  • Identify and engage with key judiciary stakeholders to encourage their participation in forums.
  • Act as the primary facilitator for forums, guiding discussions to ensure productive and respectful dialogue.
  • Develop and implement effective mechanisms for collecting feedback from forum participants.
  • Analyse feedback to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing forum discussions, feedback, and recommendations.
  • Develop clear and actionable recommendations for judiciary improvements based on forum outcomes.
  • Coordinate with judiciary officials to monitor the implementation of forum recommendations.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about progress on the implementation of recommendations.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of forums and feedback mechanisms and make improvements as necessary.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Certificate in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations, stakeholder engagement, or a similar role within a legal or judicial setting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to analyse feedback and make actionable recommendations.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to and incorporate new technologies and methodologies.
Preferred
  • Diploma in Public Administration, or Business Administration.
  • 2 years or more experience similar role within a legal or judicial setting.
