Project Leader Cables Service – Junior
Location: Brussels
Duration: initial 1-year contract
Freelance or Employed contract
Service Description
The Project Leadership Service will contribute to electrical infrastructure projects (380, 220, 150, 70, and 36 kV) relating to cable systems.
Responsibilities include:
Depending on experience, these responsibilities will either be carried out independently or under supervision.

Service Description
The Project Leadership Service will contribute to electrical infrastructure projects (380, 220, 150, 70, and 36 kV) relating to cable systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Involvement throughout the entire project lifecycle, from definition to closure:
- Participating in project definition, studies, and design
- Ensuring project execution
- Managing administrative project closure
- Conducting and supporting technical studies
- Performing calculations and developing/managing project budgets and schedules while considering available resources and customer requirements
- Preparing tender documents and participating in procurement activities
- Leading and coordinating on-site project execution in collaboration with Elia Group colleagues, suppliers, contractors, and customers
- Communicating and reporting on project progress
Depending on experience, these responsibilities will either be carried out independently or under supervision.

Additional Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- Excellent command of French and good knowledge of Dutch
- Interest in the energy sector
- Strong sense of responsibility and excellent organisational skills
- Strong communication skills, customer-focused mindset, and confident/assertive approach
- Team-oriented with a resourceful and proactive attitude
Employment Information
- Location: Monnoyerkaai 3, 1000 Brussels, Belgium
- On-site requirement: 2 days per week
