Position Summary Seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician III to support research engineers, lab supervisors, and chemists with laboratory testing, high-pressure flow experiments, equipment maintenance, and QA/QC activities within an oil & gas laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform flow experiments and physical testing using high-pressure systems.
- Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory analysis and wet chemistry testing.
- Test fuel products, including jet fuel, gasoline, and diesel.
- Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.
- Prepare samples, chemical solutions, reagents, and testing standards.
- Enter and maintain accurate testing data using LIMS and prepare reports in Excel.
- Troubleshoot out-of-control test results and repeat analyses when necessary.
- Follow laboratory safety protocols, including procedures for handling hazardous chemicals.
- Support multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
- 5+ years of relevant laboratory experience, preferably within oil & gas.
- Hands-on experience with flow-through high-pressure systems.
- Familiarity with radiology, microscopy, or spectroscopy.
- Experience with laboratory safety procedures and hazardous chemicals.
- Strong Excel reporting skills and familiarity with LIMS.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree or technical/polytechnic education in Geoscience, Chemistry, Chemical/Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous QA/QC experience.
- Experience with Visio or similar software.
