Lead Installation Methods Engineer
Location: Paris Area, France + Offshore Missions
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: Long-term Assignment
We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Installation Methods Engineer to lead installation engineering activities on complex offshore and subsea developments.
This role requires a strong technical background in installation methodologies, engineering calculations, procedure development, and offshore construction studies. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership while coordinating engineering activities from concept through offshore execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate installation engineering activities across multiple work packages.
- Review and approve calculations, procedures, and technical deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Interface with project stakeholders, offshore operations, and subcontractors.
- Ensure engineering solutions are practical, safe, and executable offshore.
- Support critical installation campaigns and major offshore operations.
- Contribute to project planning, risk assessments, and operational readiness reviews.
- Pipelines (J-Lay, Reel-Lay, S-Lay)
- Risers
- Spools and Jumpers
- Subsea Structures
- Umbilicals and Flexible Flowlines
- FPSO-related installations
- Mooring Systems and Offshore Loading Facilities
- Extensive experience in Offshore Installation or Subsea Methods Engineering.
- Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and complex installation projects.
- Strong understanding of offshore construction vessels and marine operations.
- Experience preparing and reviewing installation methodologies and engineering studies.
- Fluent English.
- BOSIET, CA-EBS, and Offshore Medical certificates are highly desirable.
