Marine Hose Flexible Pipe Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design, calculations and configuration analysis to optimise product performance and reliability.
• Support concept development, FEED and detailed engineering activities.
• Deliver engineering scopes within agreed schedules and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with international codes, client specifications and SBM requirements.
• Manage technical interfaces and assess impacts of engineering changes.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties throughout project execution.
• Support engineering packages through design, procurement, manufacturing and testing activities.
• Contribute to risk management, lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education

• Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (Mechanical, Marine, Offshore, Civil, Naval Architecture or similar).

Experience

• 5+ years of engineering experience within Offshore, Oil & Gas, Marine, Renewable Energy or related industries.
• Experience delivering engineering work with limited supervision.
• Exposure to design, procurement, manufacturing and installation phases of projects.

• Bonded marine hoses or offshore fluid transfer systems
• Flexible pipes, risers or related offshore products
• OrcaFlex or similar engineering analysis software
• FPSO or offshore project experience

Contract Details

• 1-year renewable contractor role
• ASAP start
• Mid-level to senior engineer 
• Strong product engineering background required (not piping)
• Experience with OrcaFlex and offshore product configuration analysis highly desirable.
