Job Title: Material Handler
Location: 17619 Aldine Westfield Rd, Houston, TX 77073
Contract Duration: 12 months
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $23/hour

Position Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials within the warehouse. This role involves operating forklifts and pallet stackers, managing inventory and ensuring timely movement of goods to support production and shipping activities. The position requires adherence to high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and pallet stackers to load/unload freight and move materials.
  • Receive inbound materials from suppliers, customers, and other company locations.
  • Process orders using administrative software tools (Oracle).
  • Stock received materials and completed products from in-house production.
  • Pick materials, components, and end products for delivery to production or shipping.
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Prepare orders and materials for shipment to customers or vendors.
  • Execute ad-hoc warehouse duties as needed to support business operations.
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.

Requirements
  • Valid forklift license (current or previous) and pallet stacker experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience (preferred).
  • Strong reading comprehension and ability to follow written instructions.
  • Basic math skills for inventory and order processing.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Competencies
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
  • Strong communication skills, safety-oriented mindset, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
