Pay Rate: $46/hr
Travel: Up to 50% reimbursable travel to LaBarge, WY
Position Overview Support the transition of Denbury CO₂ pipeline assets to Exxon by providing mechanical/civil engineering support for pipeline operations and small capital projects. This role focuses on hydraulic systems, piping, pumps, technical reviews, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and operations teams.

This role focuses on hydraulic systems, piping, pumps, technical reviews, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support discipline engineering activities and technical deliverables.
- Review and evaluate contractor and subcontractor work to ensure compliance with company standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Review engineering drawings, designs, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot and update hydraulic systems, piping, and pumps.
- Identify and manage deviations from technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain engineering documentation, including deviation control logs.
- Respond to engineering queries and technical information requests.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and engineering concerns to leadership.
- Participate in engineering reviews with contractors and subcontractors.
- Support small projects and promote efficient engineering design solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, and other cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience with hydraulic systems, piping, and pumps.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, codes, and specifications.
- Working knowledge of engineering standards, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with tanks and dike walls.
- Pipeline or oil & gas industry experience.
- Proficiency with Hydraulic Modeling Systems.
- Experience with Stoner Pipeline Simulator (SPS) is highly preferred.
- CAD experience is not required.
