About the Role
Working B2B with the lead Reliability Engineer, you'll assist with ongoing reliability activities for:
 
  • Pumping systems
  • Wastewater treatment plants
  • Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems
  • Diesel distribution infrastructure
  • Fire suppression systems
  • Air conditioning units and minor maintenance
 
Your focus will be on embedding reliability processes into operations, mentoring frontline teams, and driving continuous improvement across these essential services.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Help lead reliability engineering initiatives across NPI assets.
  • Work independently and confidently within established processes.
  • Coach and mentor operations teams to instill reliability best practices.
  • Collaborate with a senior engineer and site teams to deliver sustainable outcomes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative strategies.
 
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineer
  • Experience in mechanical reliability engineering, ideally within mining or heavy industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of NPI systems and fixed plant equipment.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and influence operational teams.
  • Experience with condition-based and calendar-based maintenance strategies.
