Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Onsite 4 days per week, Remote 1 day per week
Duration: 1 Year Contract
Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant to support business and technology transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for an execution-focused professional who can translate strategic direction into practical change management plans, communications, training materials, and stakeholder engagement activities that drive successful adoption of change.
The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, business stakeholders, technical subject matter experts, and end users to ensure employees are informed, prepared, and supported throughout project implementations.

Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant to support business and technology transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams, business stakeholders, technical subject matter experts, and end users to ensure employees are informed, prepared, and supported throughout project implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute organizational change management plans and activities for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Translate technical and business changes into clear, user-friendly communications and support materials.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, impact assessments, and readiness discussions.
- Identify change-related risks, resistance points, adoption barriers, and readiness concerns, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Create and maintain stakeholder maps, impact assessments, readiness plans, project trackers, and status reports.
- Develop communications including presentations, newsletters, FAQs, talking points, job aids, and quick-reference guides.
- Coordinate communications, reviews, and approvals with project teams and business stakeholders.
- Support training initiatives, including train-the-trainer programs, end-user training logistics, and follow-up activities.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, focus groups, and change impact sessions.
- Monitor project progress and escalate risks, issues, delays, and dependencies when needed.
- Support go-live readiness activities, adoption measurement, user feedback collection, and post-implementation reinforcement.
- Maintain organized project documentation and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years of experience in organizational change management, communications, training, project coordination, implementation, or a related field.
- Experience creating and executing communication, training, stakeholder engagement, or readiness activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels, including executives.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong facilitation, collaboration, relationship-building, and active listening skills.
- Ability to explain technical or process changes in simple, practical language.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, collaboration platforms, and project tracking tools.
- Experience supporting system implementations, technology upgrades, process improvements, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience managing change activities across multiple projects concurrently.
- Background creating training materials, presentations, job aids, and employee communications.
- Experience with stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, readiness assessments, and adoption measurement.
- Familiarity with project planning and work management tools such as Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
