About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced OFCI Package Manager to join a leading international data centre construction organisation delivering large-scale, mission-critical projects across Europe.

The business specialises in the delivery of complex data centre facilities, providing integrated construction and engineering solutions to support the growing demand for digital infrastructure.

As the OFCI Package Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed equipment packages, ensuring equipment is procured, delivered, installed and handed over in line with project specifications, quality standards and programme requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a major data centre project in Helsinki, working alongside experienced construction, engineering and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of OFCI equipment packages from procurement and manufacturing through to delivery, installation and handover.
  
  
• Coordinate with the client, equipment manufacturers, suppliers, main contractors and specialist subcontractors to ensure effective package delivery.
  
  
• Monitor manufacturing progress, procurement schedules and delivery dates, ensuring equipment arrives on site in line with project requirements.
  
  
• Manage equipment packages including electrical and mechanical infrastructure such as UPS systems, generators, transformers, switchgear, chillers and associated plant.
  
  
• Coordinate technical submittals, design reviews and equipment interfaces with mechanical, electrical and CSA teams.
  
  
• Ensure equipment specifications, drawings and installation requirements are aligned with the overall project design.
  
  
• Coordinate site logistics, delivery schedules, unloading, storage and installation sequencing.
  
  
• Monitor installation progress, workmanship and quality, ensuring compliance with project specifications and relevant standards.
  
  
• Work closely with commissioning teams to ensure equipment is installed correctly and ready for testing and commissioning.
  
  
• Identify and mitigate risks relating to procurement, manufacturing, logistics, installation and programme delivery.
  
  
• Maintain accurate package trackers, progress reports, risk registers and technical documentation.
  
  
• Support the resolution of technical queries, variations, defects and other issues affecting package delivery.
  
  
• Ensure all relevant inspection records, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties and handover documentation are completed.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as an OFCI Package Manager, MEP Package Manager, Electrical Package Manager or Mechanical Package Manager.
  
  
• Experience delivering complex construction or engineering projects, ideally within the data centre or mission-critical sector.
  
  
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services and associated equipment packages.
  
  
• Experience coordinating equipment manufacturers, suppliers, subcontractors and construction teams.
  
  
• Knowledge of procurement schedules, manufacturing lead times, logistics and site installation requirements.
  
  
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings and equipment submittals.
  
  
• Strong programme management, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  
  
• A proactive approach to managing risks, resolving issues and maintaining project progress.
  
  
• Relevant technical qualifications in engineering, construction or a related discipline are advantageous.
