🌊 Work Location: 90% Offshore | 10% Onshore
🔄 Rotation: 28 Days ON / 28 Days OFF
Working Hours: 12 Hours per Day
📅 Work Schedule: 7 Days per Week
Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced Piping & Structure Supervisor to coordinate and supervise Offshore Brownfield, Shutdown, Hook-Up, Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning activities for a major Compression Development Project in Qatar.
The successful candidate will represent the Company offshore, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, integrity, and operational excellence while coordinating with Operations, OESS, EPC Contractors, and Subcontractors during complex offshore SIMOPS and shutdown activities.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Coordinate Offshore Brownfield, Shutdown, Hook-Up, Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning, and Commissioning activities.
✅ Ensure compliance with Company HSE requirements, international standards, and project specifications.
✅ Supervise EPC Contractors and Subcontractors during offshore execution activities.
✅ Participate in daily safety meetings, PTW coordination meetings, and operational planning discussions.
✅ Monitor constructability, execution quality, and compliance of engineering deliverables.
✅ Coordinate with OESS, Operations, and Contractors to ensure safe and efficient SIMOPS execution.
✅ Review progress reports and identify critical issues, delays, and corrective actions.
✅ Support Permit to Work (PTW) activities and ensure adherence to approved Method Statements and JSA requirements.
✅ Promote a strong offshore safety culture and ensure closure of safety actions within assigned responsibilities.
✅ Participate in Lessons Learned and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Project Overview
The role is part of a major Compression Development Program, involving:
  • Construction of 5 new riser platforms
  • 1 new wellhead platform
  • Stalk-on risers, cables, and fiber optic lines
  • Tie-ins and modifications to 17 existing offshore platforms
  • Extensive Brownfield, Hook-Up, SIMOPS, and Shutdown execution activities
Requirements
🎓 Minimum Qualification
  • Higher National Diploma or equivalent technical qualification
Experience
✔ Minimum 8 years of Oil & Gas industry experience in large-scale construction and offshore execution projects.
✔ Proven experience in:
  • Brownfield Projects
  • Hook-Up Activities
  • Shutdown Execution
  • Offshore Construction & Installation
  • Mechanical Completion
  • Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning
✔ Experience working with:
  • Oil & Gas Operators
  • EPC Contractors
  • Offshore Construction Companies
  • Service Providers
Technical Skills
✔ Strong knowledge of offshore facilities, structures, piping systems, and construction practices.
✔ Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and safety requirements for offshore fabrication, transportation, installation, and commissioning.
✔ Experience managing execution risks associated with LNG and Sour Gas facilities.
✔ Strong understanding of SIMOPS, PTW systems, JSA, and offshore safety management.
✔ Excellent communication, coordination, and contractor management skills.
