Piping Mechanical Construction Supervisor

Job Title- Piping / Mechanical Construction Supervisor 
Location- Anbar, Iraq
Rotation - 6/3 Role purpose: Lead and coordinate all piping & mechanical construction activities on site, ensuring safe execution, schedule adherence, and quality compliance across the construction-to-commissioning phases.

Must-have responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day piping & mechanical construction execution on site, including subcontractor supervision and work-front coordination.
• Ensure work is executed per Approved For Construction (AFC) drawings, project specs, and latest document revisions (strong engineering–site interface).
• Control key construction interfaces: free-issue materials, major equipment/packages receipt and correct installation.
• Drive HSE compliance: manage/verify PTW, isolations, and LOTO requirements; ensure safe working practices and hazard controls.
• Monitor construction progress vs schedule, report daily status/forecast, and highlight constraints/deviations with corrective actions.
• Ensure quality compliance: coordinate with piping/mechanical QA/QC; manage inspection readiness, resolve NCR drivers, and verify subcontractor workmanship.
• Support mechanical completion / CCMS completion activities and commissioning assistance as required.
• Manage as-built documentation from subcontractors.

Must-have experience / qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related).
• 10+ years proven experience as Piping / Mechanical Supervisor on Oil & Gas EPCC projects (construction through commissioning exposure).
• Strong working knowledge of PTW, LOTO, isolations, and site safety rules.
• Strong understanding of piping/mechanical erection, installation practices, and construction planning/resource allocation.
• Ability to coordinate across disciplines (basic understanding of civil, E&I, instrumentation interfaces).
• Strong leadership, contractor management, and communication skills (client/subcontractor/site team).
