📢 Hiring: Planner/Scheduler
📍 Location: Qatar (Doha & Ras Laffan)
📄 Contract Type: Yearly Renewable Contract
We are seeking an experienced Planner/Scheduler to join a major industrial project in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, analyzing, and optimizing integrated project schedules throughout the engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Develop, maintain, review, and update integrated project schedules using Primavera P6
✅ Conduct schedule analysis including:
  • Critical Path Analysis
  • Float Analysis
  • What-if Scenarios
  • Schedule Variance Analysis
  • Trend Analysis
✅ Review and challenge contractor baseline and update schedules
✅ Perform schedule health checks and identify potential risks, delays, and constraints
✅ Coordinate scheduling interfaces across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and Start-up activities
✅ Support schedule recovery planning and mitigation strategies
✅ Validate contractor progress measurement, earned value performance, and milestone achievement
✅ Assist with weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, KPIs, and look-ahead schedules
✅ Participate in risk management workshops and schedule contingency assessments
✅ Support time impact analysis and contractor schedule claim evaluations
✅ Collaborate with Project Management Teams and contractors to ensure project objectives are achieved safely, on time, and within budget
Requirements
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
✔ 10+ years of planning and scheduling experience in major capital projects
✔ Expert-level proficiency in:
  • Primavera P6
  • Schedule Risk Analysis
  • Acumen Fuse
✔ Strong knowledge of:
  • Critical Path Method (CPM)
  • Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Progress Measurement
  • Schedule Forecasting
  • Schedule Recovery Planning
  • Time Impact Analysis
✔ Experience reviewing EPC contractor schedules and project controls deliverables
✔ Experience supporting engineering, construction, commissioning, and start-up phases
✔ Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
✔ Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
✔ Previous operator or EPC contractor project experience preferred
Preferred Experience
⭐ Petrochemical, LNG, Oil & Gas, or large-scale industrial projects
⭐ Mega project execution experience
⭐ Middle East project experience
⭐ Construction, commissioning, and start-up support experience
