Detailed Responsibility:
  • Prepare and consolidate inputs for quarterly forecasts, the annual budget and the four-year plan, including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, G&A, production and investment data.
  • Load, validate and reconcile planning and reporting information in applicable Eni systems, including MASTRO, NICE and Segment CS, and investigate inconsistencies with data owners.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports, dashboards and presentations, with concise commentary on performance, key drivers, risks and opportunities.
  • Analyze actual results against budget, forecast and prior year, identify material variances and support corrective actions and updated outlooks.
  • Monitor capital expenditures, commitments and project phasing; maintain forecasts and explain changes by asset, project and cost category.
  • Support project authorization packages, annual project releases and approval documentation, including economic and financial analyses.
  • Build and maintain economic models for exploration, development and other capital projects; perform sensitivities, scenario analysis, and lookback analysis.
  • Collect, validate and analyze technical, commercial and financial information for acquisition, divestiture and lease-sale opportunities; support valuations, due diligence and management presentations.
  • Coordinate with Accounting and other functions to reconcile actual data used in planning and management reporting.
  • Maintain planning models, assumptions, templates and supporting documentation, promoting consistency, traceability and continuous improvement.
  • Respond to ad hoc analytical requests and perform other duties as assigned.
Purpose:
  • Support the Planning Manager in executing planning, budgeting and quarterly forecasting activities in accordance with Eni methodologies and reporting requirements.
  • Prepare financial and operational analyses, management reporting and decision-support materials, including actual-versus-budget and forecast variance analysis.
  • Support capital expenditure planning, project economics, portfolio analysis, strategic planning and acquisition and divestiture evaluations.
  • Coordinate data collection and quality control across functions, ensuring timely, accurate and consistent submissions to management and Corporate.
