Duration: Approx. 1-3 Year Surge Support Assignment
Rate: Starts at $60/hr (Open to negotiating higher based on prior experience)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Facilities & Process Engineer to provide day-to-day engineering support for LNG process facilities, utilities, and balance-of-plant systems. This role is responsible for troubleshooting operational issues, supporting reliability and integrity initiatives, executing Management of Change (MOC) activities, coordinating engineering studies, and driving the resolution of plant vulnerabilities.
The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Integrity, Projects, and third-party engineering contractors to improve facility performance, reliability, operability, and overall plant readiness. This position serves as a key technical resource focused on maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable facility operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily engineering support for LNG process systems, utilities, and facility operations.
- Troubleshoot process, equipment, and operational issues impacting plant performance and reliability.
- Support facility reliability, integrity, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Lead and participate in Management of Change (MOC) processes.
- Identify, assess, and drive resolution of facility vulnerabilities and technical action items.
- Coordinate engineering studies, process evaluations, and technical assessments.
- Support maintenance planning, turnaround activities, and operational readiness efforts.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Integrity, and Project teams to implement facility improvements.
- Review engineering documents, procedures, process calculations, and technical recommendations.
- Assist with capital and expense project execution from concept through implementation.
- Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Interface with engineering contractors, consultants, vendors, and equipment manufacturers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience supporting LNG facilities or comparable process industries, including:
- LNG Export/Import Terminals
- Gas Processing Facilities
- Petrochemical Plants
- Refining Operations
- Chemical Manufacturing Facilities
- Midstream Processing Facilities
- Strong operations experience supporting live operating facilities.
- Experience troubleshooting plant operational and process issues.
- Experience supporting facility reliability, integrity, and performance improvement programs.
- Practical knowledge of Management of Change (MOC) processes.
- Familiarity with process engineering principles, plant systems, and utility operations.
- LNG liquefaction or regasification facility experience.
- Experience supporting commissioning, startup, debottlenecking, or optimisation initiatives.
- Knowledge of process safety management (PSM) programs.
- Experience with HAZOPs, risk assessments, and facility studies.
- Familiarity with DCS and process control systems.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
