Project Manager | Major Transmission Infrastructure
Perth, WA | Permanent Opportunity

Play a key role in delivering some of Western Australia's most significant transmission infrastructure projects, supporting the state's energy transition and future renewable energy growth.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale transmission and electrical infrastructure projects from planning and design through to construction, commissioning and operational handover.
This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-value infrastructure projects that will have a lasting impact on Western Australia's energy network.

The Role

Reporting into the Major Projects team, you will be responsible for the safe and successful delivery of transmission line, substation and network augmentation projects.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing projects through the full lifecycle from development through to completion.
  • Delivering projects to agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality and safety targets.
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, resource plans and delivery strategies.
  • Managing project financial performance including forecasting, budgeting and cost control.
  • Leading contractor, consultant and supplier performance across project delivery.
  • Identifying and managing project risks, issues and opportunities.
  • Preparing project reports and presenting updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships including landowners, regulatory bodies, contractors and internal project teams.
  • Ensuring governance, quality assurance and project control requirements are met.
  • Facilitating successful project commissioning and operational handover.
 
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
  • Proven experience delivering major infrastructure, utilities, energy or electrical projects.
  • Experience managing transmission line, substation, renewable energy connection or large-scale network projects.
  • Strong project controls capability including scheduling, forecasting and reporting.
  • Experience managing contractors and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Demonstrated success delivering high-value capital projects within challenging timeframes.
  • Degree qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Strong commercial, financial and risk management capability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
